I started my yoga practice about 20 years ago. I was attracted to the fluid movement and physical demands of the asanas. Following the deeper purpose of the postures, breath and pranayama led me to complete a 300 hour Viniyoga and a 30 hour Yin and Restorative teacher training through Yoga Therapy Toronto. My style now would be best described as Inclusive Yoga. Instead of teaching a set series of postures I design my classes in consideration of the differing abilities and needs of each individual, adapting the postures and movements to give practitioners the ability to participate and gain the benefits of yoga regardless of experience, body size, fitness level or flexibility. I teach both vigorous flow and calming restorative classes. I have also completed training in pre and post natal yoga through Blooma as well as Mental Health and Trauma Sensitive training with the Blu Matter Project.
